Follow music into a courtyard. Help a stranger carry a painting. Find company, encounter attraction, make something awkward, or discover what happens when you stop being the person who always knows what to do.

Along the way, choose books from the Threshold Series. Their questions can change what you notice and open another response. The collection you carry to the ending belongs to the route you take.

How the books enter the story

The character can choose a book when a situation raises a question. Each reading offers an original reflection, with a cover and optional links. Some readings open additional responses later. You can also learn through conversation and continue without opening a book. No purchase is required.

Your collection belongs to your route

Only books you choose to open join your collection. Your ending highlights relevant titles from that collection and gathers the others below. A different path can lead to different books.

Story themes and boundaries

Loneliness, disappointment, attraction, consensual intimacy, creative vulnerability, and controlling group expectations. No graphic sexual content. The people and events are fictional. Reading reflections are original interpretations, not quotations or extracts from the books. Choices do not produce a personality or moral score.
